Obsessed

Obsessed is the word the lazy use to describe the dedicated.
How many people have had friends and family members tell you you’re obsessed with Crossfit and the food you eat?
When Chris and I went to visit friends, you could tell they would never understand our obsession with working out.
To them it’s something you do several times a year. They are the kind of people who are not overweight or have health issues so working out isn’t always on their minds. So Chris and I just don’t take our conversations there with them - we can go on and on about Crossfit. It’s our hobby and it is something we both enjoy doing together.
Then there are those friends who make fun of us. If they ask me to move a couch, and I say I can’t, their response is, “come on Crossfit, I thought you were all tough.” Or they talk about how they only pay $50 a month at their gym… I don’t even want to go there.
Any of you have haters out there?

Makes it even harder when you your biggest hater is your boyfriend! He didnt agree to me working out with kahlan in my belly, but if it isnt for crossfit I probably would have gained 50lbs+, had some swelling and labor would have been a lot longer. instead, labor was one of the easiest things I've ever done. Pushed her out in 5 contractions. Blood pressure was great all throughout my pregnancy and I gave birth to a healthy baby girl. No complications at all. Also, Doctor said that usually it is a 6 week recovery but since Im in tip top shape, I can probably go back in 2-3 weeks depending on how I feel. People think I'm crazy but I love crossfit, and could not imagine life without it. Its not just crossfit itself, its the people. I miss everybody and know even though I wont be there to workout I'll probably come up there just to visit and get my crossfit fix :)
